Register for Classes

Angie luminaryWe have a great selection of classes and instructors lined up for you! Classes will be held at the Smith County Ag Complex in Raleigh, MS, September 19-21, 2014. The carving classes will be held outdoors in the covered arena. All other classes will be held indoors. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a “first-come” basis. Walk-ins during festival will be accepted, if spaces are available.   Final date for pre-festival class registration is Monday, September 8. All students should check in at the class registration desk at the festival before going to class.

Notice class fee structure. Class fee consists of teacher fee payable to the teacher in class and registration fee payable to MSGS upon registration. The $5 registration fee per class is non-refundable, unless teacher cancels class. Online registration is very easy to use and we prefer all students register online. An email address is required. If you don’t have one and haven’t made arrangements to borrow a friend’s, put MSGS’s email address, info@mississippigourdsociety.org, in the blank. If you’re unable to register online, you may request a paper form. When you receive your confirmation email, you will have the option to pay your registration fees with PayPal or you can mail a check. Just follow the instructions. You do not have to have a PayPal account, and it’s fast and easy to pay!

Pre-registered students with prepaid registration fees will get in the “Fast Lane” at the registration desk at the festival. They will check in and pick up their schedules—no waiting in a single line with students waiting to register and pay at the festival. We’ll get them checked in ASAP and they’ll be ready to go to class or shop!

We look forward to having you! If you have questions or problems with registration, please contact Susan Byra,  601-776-2058, stbyra@gmail.com.  MSGS email: info@mississippigourdsociety.org.
